Sometimes, even parents need help. After a friend and her daughter highly recommended Coach Matt, we decided to reach out to him. We were unsure if our child would actually open up to another adult. Coach Matt has a gift for making people feel safe. Over the years, three of our four children have visited with Coach Matt. Three very different personalities with the same results. All three children have always had wonderful things to say and feel very comfortable talking to him. He has helped our family tremendously.

I was referred to Coach Matt by a friend who was amazed by his work and the progress they had with their family. I have to say her level of satisfaction was nice to hear but even better to see for myself. I feel this type of coaching and coaching work is far better than doing counseling. His rapport with kids is amazing

Matt has been working with my son for over 7 years now and has been nothing short of amazing. He is able to push my son to be a stronger swimmer and when he gets resistance he asks questions from every angle to be able to verbally work through what the resistance is and go beyond it.

​He not only coaches about the physical aspects of swimming but helps coach the student mentally. His rapport with kids is amazing and he treats them like adults while still respecting the fact they are children and need to be kids.

Our son sees him as needed and has grown his mental toughness in his demanding travel hockey goalie position as well as growing in his ability to express himself in all aspects of life. He’s more confident in himself and comfortable with who he is. I’m in awe of his ability to “swim upstream” and don’t have any worries about peer pressure or social media or any of those typical teen problems that arise in high school. He knows who he is and what he needs, and that’s a priceless gift most adults have yet to master. I am so incredibly grateful

I would like to say how happy and grateful I am that we found Coach Matt. My teenage son was dealing with anxiety and lack of self esteem issues, which held him back from doing things he loved. After just one session with Matt, I could see him really start to take in what they talked about and after a few sessions I could see a real change in him. Now he has a part time job, he’s playing football for his school and making new friends, aka he’s building himself a life. So happy he’s no longer locked in his room or attached to his ps5 because he’s too nervous or concerned what others will think about him. Still has work to do but I am so incredibly grateful for the wonderful progress he’s made.
